Websites & Web Apps

Fast, search-friendly websites for local businesses, and web apps when you need more — logins, dashboards, customer portals. Built to load quickly and turn visitors into enquiries, then handed over with hosting set up.

Good fit ifyour current site is a template, out of date or not bringing in enquiries — or you've outgrown it and need logins, bookings or a customer portal.

  • Services, gallery, team, FAQ and Instagram — everything a small-business site needs
  • Lightweight static builds, or Next.js and React
  • Performance, accessibility and SEO built in
  • Mobile apps too: React Native + Expo from the same TypeScript codebase

Automation & Integrations

Take repetitive manual work off your team — reports, file transfers, data entry, software releases — and make it run itself, with an alert when something goes wrong.

Good fit ifsomeone on your team spends hours a week copying data between systems, chasing files or running the same report by hand.

  • Jobs that run on a schedule, or the moment a file lands (AWS S3, EventBridge)
  • Alerts to email and Microsoft Teams; partner file delivery over SFTP
  • Web scraping and OCR for documents and images (Python)
  • CI/CD for dev teams — one pipeline cut from over an hour to 5–15 minutes

Cloud & Back-End (AWS)

Serverless back-ends on AWS that are reliable, cost little when idle, and are defined as code — so every environment is reproducible and nothing lives only in someone's head.

Good fit ifyou're a tech team that needs another pair of hands on AWS, CI/CD or infrastructure-as-code without a full-time hire.

  • Serverless building blocks — Lambda, S3, queues, events, user sign-in (Cognito)
  • Infrastructure as code with Pulumi across dev and prod
  • Integration tests against real AWS, OpenAPI contracts, zero-downtime deploys

Freelance client

New website for a family-run cleaning business in Killarney, replacing a template site: services, before-and-after gallery, team profiles, FAQ, Instagram feed and WhatsApp contact. A lightweight static build that loads fast on a phone.

A public demo of a private AI stack: drop in a PDF and get the key facts as strict JSON plus a plain-language explanation, point it at a photo and it transcribes and describes it, or just chat. Two open-weight Qwen models run on a six-core desktop in my house; a Go API queues the work and streams results back as they arrive. No account, files deleted after 24 hours.

2026
Side project

It's Sprint 47, the build is red, and you are the CI. A synthwave canvas shooter where `missing ;`, `undefined is not a function` and a memory leak with a live MB counter charge down a neon corridor toward your desk. Every bug you miss ships to production and costs you a coffee; run out and you get a Production Incident Postmortem, with story points. Fill the RAGE meter and answer with git push --force. Zero dependencies, zero asset files, zero mercy.

Cross-Platform IoT Apps

Day job · in production

Two field apps for an IoT company, built so one TypeScript codebase ships to iOS, Android, web and Windows. They keep working offline and sync when back online; releases to every platform are automated.

Tell me what you're trying to get done — a couple of lines is plenty. I reply within one business day. From me, not a bot.

Worth including

  • What you're trying to get done, in your words
  • Any deadline or event you're working towards
  • A rough budget if you have one (optional — it helps me suggest the right size of solution)

How it works

  1. I reply within one business day, usually with a few questions.

  2. A short call to understand what you need — no charge.

  3. Scope and price in writing before any work starts.

  4. You own the code, domain and accounts at handover. Ongoing support is optional.

Based in Killarney, Co. Kerry. Happy to meet in person around Kerry; everything else works remotely.
